i'm studying media arts and media design at bauhaus university and my main subject is radio art. i'm writing, directing and producing hörspiel (radio drama), acoustic sceneries and journalistic features. my background is theater and performing arts, which i studied in hildesheim and vasa (finland).

How to be modern today?

for me the simple question "how to be modern?" is causing a conflict. it is more important than it has ever been to find a precise meaning of the term "modern". for me personally i can answer this question only by changing it into "what means modernity today and how do we want to define it?". that's what we have to think of and develop an understanding of modernity and how we want to develop it. the evolution of modernity is a leading topic for current discussions in society.
