How to be modern today?
how old fashioned to think about being modern. that was my first thought when a friend told me about the summit. but is it? is being modern to think about a progress or a (idealized) future? is it a look back? is it dealing with the coexistence of things? is it being focused on the present, the contemporary, uncertain about what might come? maybe it's raising questions. maybe it's the longing for information. to ask differently? no answer today - but the wish to think about it collectively.
