I am a trained geographer. I write and i make exhibitions. Last year i curated an exibition about the famous and infamous chemistry plant Leuna that has its roots in two key principles of modernity: synthesis and catalyzing.
How to be modern today?
Being modern is about drinking hot water, waking up early and pottery. It is also about envisioning the future as being structured, shiny and endless. Today, being modern is maybe more difficult than ever. But as H.P. Lovecraft wrote in 1926: "Ph'nglui mglw'nafh Bauhaus Weimar wgah'nagl fhtagn"
